AN ORDINANCE RENAMING "CRYSTAL OAKS", AS IT IS CURRENTLY PLATTED WITHIN THE CITY
LIMITS OF COLLEGE STATION, AS "WILDEWOOD CIRCLE" AND MAKING THE RENAMED STREET
A CONTINUATION OF THE EXISTING STREET WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF COLLEGE STATION
CALLED "WILDEWOOD CIRCLE".
WHEREAS, the City of College Station has determined that in order to avoid confusion in the delivery of
emergency and postal services, a need exists to establish a single name for the two roadways that form
one continuous thoroughfare, said roadways being currently platted as "Wildewood Circle" and Crystal
Oaks;" and
WHEREAS, the renaming of the street now called Crystal Oaks was initiated and requested by residents
now living on Wildewood Circle; and
WHEREAS, the property owner of the lots that front onto the roadway currently platted as Crystal Oaks
has been notified in writing of the renaming of the street; and
WHEREAS, all of the lots that front onto the roadway currently platted as Crystal Oaks are undeveloped.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the residents of both Wildwood Circle and the said
adjoining Crystal Oaks will benefit from the designation of the thoroughfare with a single name because it
reduces the potential of emergency of other vehicles responding to an incorrect address;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS, that the roadway currently known as "Crystal Oaks" be renamed as "Wildewood
Circle"; and the City Council of the City of College Station further ordains that this change shall become
effective on the 14th day of December, 1995.
PASS, ADOPTED, and APPROVED this 14th day of December, 1995.
