AN ORDINANCE (BUDGET AMENDMENT 1) AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2266
WHICH WILL AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 1997-98 FISCAL YEAR AND AUTHORIZING
AMENDED EXPENDITURES AS THEREIN PROVIDED.
WHEREAS, a budget for the fiscal year October 1, 1997 to September 30, 1998, was prepared
for Council consideration; and
WHEREAS, on September 25, 1997, the City Council called a public hearing for October 9,
1997, and notice of such hearing was published in the newspaper on October 2, 1997, in
compliance with the Charter of the City of College Station; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on October 9, 1997, and at said hearing the Council
received a recommendation to amend the budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend the 1997-98 Fiscal Year Budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
That the amended expenditures budgeted for fiscal year 1997-98 for the Hotel Motel
Fund is $1,581,118
II.
This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with the
City Charter of the City of College Station, Texas.
