AN ORDINANCE (BUDGET AMENDMENT 1) AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2207
WHICH WILL AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 1996-97 FISCAL YEAR AND AUTHORIZING
AMENDED EXPENDITURES AS THEREIN PROVIDED.
WHEREAS, a budget for the fiscal year October 1, 1996 to September 30, 1997, was prepared
for Council consideration;
WHEREAS, on February 27, 1997, the Council called a public hearing for March 13, 1997, and
notice of such hearing was published in the newspaper on March 7, 1997, in compliance with
the Charter of the City of College Station;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 13, 1997, and at said hearing the Council
received a recommendation to amend the budget;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend the 1996-97 Fiscal Year Budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
That the amended revenues budgeted for fiscal year 1998-97 for the General Debt
Service Fund is $11,935,358, and for the Utility Revenue Debt Service Funds is
$9,993,844 and
II.
That the amended expenditures budgeted for fiscal year 1998-97 for the General Debt
Service Fund is $11,931,392, and for the Utility Revenue Debt Service Funds is
$9,993,844 and
II1.
This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with
the City Charter of the City of College Station, Texas.
