AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A TWENTY
FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT, WHICH CROSSES AND LIES WITHIN LOT
1, BLOCK 6 OF PEBBLE CREEK PHASE 1G (MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS
4926 FIRESTONE DRIVE), IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station has received an application for the aban-
donment of a portion of a twenty foot wide utility easement, which crosses and lies
within Lot 1, Block 6 of Pebble Creek Phase 1G (more commonly known as 4926
Firestone Drive), in the City of College Station, said portion of the utility easement
being more particularly described on Exhibit 'W' attached hereto; and
WHEREAS on September 26, 1996, the City Council of the City of College
Station, Texas, heard the application of Mike Lane for the vacation and
abandonment of the aforementioned portion of the twenty foot wide utility
easement that crosses and lies within Lot 1, Block 6 of Pebble Creek Phase 1G,
according to the plat recorded in Volume 1682, Page 279, of the Official Records
of Brazos County, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of College
Station, Texas, that a portion of a twenty foot wide strip of land previously platted
as a utility easement, which crosses and lies within Lot 1, Block 6 of Pebble Creek
Phase 1G (more commonly known as 4926 Firestone Drive) in the City of College
Station, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be abandoned and vacated;
that the Mayor and the City Secretary be authorized to convey by cJuit claim deed
on behalf of the City of College Station any right or claim that the City has in and
to said portion of said twenty foot wide strip of land to the property owner, Mike
Lane.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 26th day of September, 1996.

All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the S.W. Robertson
Survey, Abstract No. 202, in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, being a part of Lot 1
in Block 6 of Pebble Creek Phase 1G addition to the City of College Station, Texas,
according to plat of record in Volume 1682, Page 279 of the Official Records of Brazos
County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most northerly comer of the said Lot 1 in the southeast line of Firestone
Drive.
Thence S 39° 34' 29" E - 155.00 feet along the northeast line of the said Lot 1 to a point
located ten feet (10') northwest from the common comer of Lot 1 and Lot 44 in the said
Block 6;
Thence S 50° 25' 31" W - 20.00 feet, parallel to and ten feet (10') northwest of the
southeast line of the said Lot 1;
Thence N 39° 34' 29" W - 155.00 feet through the said Lot 1, parallel to and ten feet
(10') from the northeast line of same to the southeast line of Firestone Drive;
Thence N 50° 25' 31" E - 20.00 feet along the southeast line of Firestone Drive to the
Point of Beginning and containing 0.07 acres of land more or less.
