AN ORDrNANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1, SECTION 11, OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, RELATING TO
HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
That Chapter 1, Section 11, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College
Station, pertaining to hotel occupancy tax, is hereby amended by amending
subparagraph (3) to read as follows:
"(3)
No tax shall he imposed hereunder upon the
United States or an officer or employee of
the United States when traveling on or
otherwise engaged in the course of official
duties for the United States."
II.
This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the City Council and duly attested by the Mayor and
City Secretary.
