AN ORDINANCE (BUDGET AMENDMENT 2) AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2266
WHICH WILL AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 1997-98 FISCAL YEAR AND AUTHORIZING
AMENDED EXPENDITURES AS THEREIN PROVIDED.
WHEREAS, a budget for the fiscal year October 1, 1997 to September 30, 1998, was prepared
for Council consideration;
WHEREAS, on November 13, 1997, the Council called a public hearing for December 11, 1997,
and notice of such hearing was published in the newspaper on December 3, 1997, in
compliance with the Charter of the City of College Station;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on December 11, 1997, and at said hearing the Council
received a recommendation to amend the budget;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend the 1997-98 Fiscal Year Budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
That the amended expenditures budgeted for fiscal year 1996-97 for the General Fund
is $24,288,853, for the Water Fund is $8,121,815 and for the Combined Internal Service
Fund is $3,612,382 and

This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with the
City Charter of the City of College Station, Texas.
