AN ORDINANCE RENAMING GEMSTONE, WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS TO EMERALD PLAZA.
WHEREAS, the City received a request that the City Council act to change Gemstone to
Emerald Plaza; and,
WHEREAS, all abutting property owners have been notified and are in agreement with
such a change; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, that Gemstone be renamed Emerald Plaza; and that
mindful that owners of property abutting Gemstone may be affected by this change and
will need time to make certain arrangements, the City Council of the City of College
Station further ordains that this change shall not become effective until the 1st day of
January, 1997.
