AN ORDINANCE REZONING ONE PARCEL OF LAND TOTALING 8.72 ACRES
LOCATED IN THE CRAWFORD BURNETT LEAGUE, ABSTRACT NO. 7, BEING A
PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN 58.30 ACRE TRACT RECORDED IN VOLUME 3554,
PAGE 416 OF THE OFFICIAL RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1:
That the City of College Station Zoning Ordinance #1638, more specifically the
Official Zoning Map, be amended as set out in Exhibits "A", "B", and "C" attached
hereto and made a part of this ordinance for all purposes.
PART 2:
That if any provisions of any section of this ordinance shall be held to be void or
unconstitutional, such holding shall in no way effect the validity of the remaining
provisions or sections of this ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect.
PART 3:
That any person, finn or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be
punishable by a fine of not less than Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than Two
Thousand Dollars ($2000.00).
PART 4:
A notice of the time and place, where and when said ordinance would be given a
public hearing and considered for final passage, was published in The Eagle, a daily
newspaper of general circulation in the Cities of Bryan and College Station, said
publication being on Wednesday, March 24, 1999, the same being at least fu%en (15)
days prior to a public hearing to be held in the Council Room of the City Hall in
College Station, Texas, at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 8, 1999, to permit the public
to be heard prior to final consideration of this ordinance.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 8th day of April, 1999.

EXHIBIT "A"
That the Official Zoning Map of the City of College Station, and pan of Zoning Ordinance # 1638,
is hereby amended as follows:
The subject 8.72 acre tract described by metes and bounds in the attached Exhibit "B"
and shown graphically in Exhibit "C" is rezoned from R-1 Single Family Residential to
R-5 Apartment Medium Density.
