AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, "TRAFFIC CODE", OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BY AMENDING CERTAIN
SECTIONS AS SET OUT BELOW; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND
DECLARING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1: That Chapter 10, '~Fraffic Code", of the Coc~ of Ordinances of the City of College
Station, Texas, be amended as set out in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and mad~ a part of
this ordinance for all purposes.
PART 2: That if any provisions of any section of this ordinance shall be held to be void or
unconstitutional, such hold/nE shall in no way effect the valid/ty of the remain/ne
provisions or sections of this ordinan~ which shall remain in full force and effect.
PART 3: That any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conv/ct/on thereof shall be punishable by a
fine of not l~ss than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars
($$00.00). Each day such violation shall continue or be permitted to continue, shall be
d~emed a separate offease. Said ordinance, be/nE a penal ordinan~, becomes effective ten
(10) day~ after it~ da~ of ~ by ~ City Council, as provid~l by S~'t/on 35 of the
Chamr of the City of Colle~ Station.

That Chapter 10, Section 3.E(2)(e), ofthe Cod~ of Ordinances oftbe City of College Station, Texas, is
hereby anumded to rout as follows:
FM 2154, for traffic moving in a southea-ly direction for the first 0.291 mile from
the intersection of the most northedy ramp of FM 60 interchange, the speed limit
shall be forty (40) miles I~ hour. For tbe next 0.570 milo, tbe speed limit shall be
thirty-five (35) miles per hour. Fo~ the next 0.331 mile,, thc speed limit shall be
forty (40) miles per hour. For fl~e next 1.523 mile, the speed limit shaH be fo~y==
five (404_~) miles ~ hour to thc south city limit of Collc~ Station.
FM 2154 for traffic moving in a northerly direction, for the first 1.523 mile from
the south city limit of College Station, the speed limit shall be forty-five (45) miles
per hour. For the next 0.331 milo, the speed limit shall be forty (40) miles per
hour. For the next 0.570 mile, the speed lhnit .~hnll be thirty-five (35) miles per
hour. For the next 0.291 mile, the speed limit shall be forty (40) miles per hour to
the intersection of the most northerly ramp of the FM 60 intmr, imnge."
