HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-2366 - Ordinance - 01/14/1999ORDINANCE NO. 2366 AN ORDINANCE REZO~G TWO PARCELS OF LAND TOTALING 28.0 ACRES LOCATED IN THE CRAWFORD BURNETT SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 7 IN COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: PART 1: That the City of College Station Zoning Ordinance #1638, more specifically the Official Zoning Map, be amended as set out in Exhibits "A", "B", "C" and "D" attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance for all purposes. PART 2: That if any provisions of any section of this ordinance shall be held to be void or unconstitutional, such holding shall in no way effect the validity of the remaining provisions or sections of this ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect. PART 3: That any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not less than Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2000.00). PART 4: A notice of the time and place, where and when said ordinance would be given a public hearing and considered for final passage, was published in The Eagle, a daily newspaper of general circulation in the Cities of Bryan and College Station, said publication being on Wednesday, December 30, 1998, the same being at least fifteen (15) days prior to a public hearing to be held in the Council Room of the City Hall in College Station, Texas, at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 14, 1999, to permit the public to be heard prior to final ~nsideration ofthis ordinance. Tract 2: The subject 19.57 acre tract described by metes and bounds in the attached Exhibit "C" and shown graphically in Exhibit "D" is rezoned from A-O Agricultural Open to R-1 Single Family Residential.
