AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A TWENTY
FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT, WHICH CROSSES AND LIES WITHIN
TRACT A, THE GLADE, SECTION 12, IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station has received an application for the aban-
donment of a portion of a twenty foot wide utility easement, which crosses and lies
within Tract A, The Glade, Section 12, in the City of College Station, said portion
of the utility easement being more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS on January 14, 1999, the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas, heard the application of Bob and Elizabeth Pool for the vacation and
abandonment of the aforementioned portion of the twenty foot wide utility
easement that crosses and lies Tract A, The Glade, Section 12, according to the
plat recorded in Volume 1364, Page 207, of the Official Records of Brazos
County, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of College
Station, Texas, that a portion of a twenty foot wide strip of land previously platted
as a utility easement, which crosses and lies within Tract A, The Glade, Section
12, in the City of College Station, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be
abandoned and vacated.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 14th day of January, 1999.

Field notes of a 0.12 acre tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated
in the Crawford Burnett Survey, Abstract No. 7, College Station, Brazos
County, Texas, also being the 20' utility easement adjoining the northwest line
of Tract A - 2.55 acres as shown on the plat of The Glade - Section 12
recorded in Volume 1364, Page 207, of the Official Records of Brazos County,
Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the ½" iron rod found at fence corner marking the
west corner of the beforementioned Tract A - 2.55 acres;
THENCE N 44° 51' 53" E along the northwest line of the
beforementioned Tract A - 2.55 acres for a distance of 10.00 feet to a ½" iron
rod found at fence corner marking the PLACE OF BEGINNING of this
description;
THENCE N 44° 54' 00" E along the northwest line of the
beforementioned Tract A - 2.55 acres for a distance of 250.00 feet, a ½" iron
rod found marking the north corner of the said Tract A bears N 44° 54' 00" E -
10.0 feet;
THENCE S 45° 06' 15" E 20.00 feet;
THENCE S 44° 54' 00" W 250.00 feet;
THENCE N 45° 08' 07" W 20.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING,
containing 0.12 acre of land, more or less.
