AN ORDINANCE RENAMING A PORTION OF NORTH GRAHAM ROAD
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF COLLEGE STATION, BETWEEN VICTORIA
AVENUE AND REGAL ROW COURT, TO CASTLEBROOK DRIVE.
WHEREAS, the City has determined that a need exists to rename a portion of North
Graham Road within the city limits of College Station, between Victoria Avenue and
Regal Row Court, to Castlebrook Drive; and,
WHEREAS, the property owners on the renamed street have been notified in writing and
given the opportunity to suggest altematc names or otherwise respond to the name
change; and
WHEREAS, having determined that the citizens of North Graham Road would
ultimately benefit from the change because it would reduce the potential of emergency
vehicles responding to incorrect addresses;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, that a portion of North Graham Road
within the city limits of College Station, between Victoria Avenue and Regal Row Court,
be renamed Castlebrook Drive; and that, mindful that owners of property abutting North
Graham Road may be affected by this change and will need to make certain
arrangements, the City Council of the City of College Station further ordains that this
change shall not become effective until the 1 st day of November, 1998.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 1 lth day of June, 1998.
