A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS
AUTHORIZING ANNUAL EXPENDITURE TO THE AGGIELAND HUMANE SOCIETY,
INC. FOR ANIMAL SHELTER SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION BY THE AGGIELAND HUMANE SOCIETY, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station entered into an Agreement for Animal Shelter Services
with the Aggieland Humane Society, Inc. on May 26, 2022; and
WHEREAS, Article 5 of the Agreement says the City shall pay a fee for Animal Shelter Services
to be established annually by separate resolution; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1: That the City Council of the City of College Station authorize the expenditure for
Fiscal Year 2022-2023 in the amount of $276,000.00, to be payable in 12 equal
installments of $23,000.00.
PART 2: That funds are budgeted and available in the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Approved
Budget in the General Fund.
PART 3: That this resolution is to be effective for the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year from October
1, 2022 – September 30, 2023.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 27th day of October, A.D. 2022.
