AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTF.~ 10, "TRAFFIC CODE", OF TrlE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COI I.EGE STATION, TEXAS, BY AMENDING
CERTAIN SECTIONS AS SET OUT BELOW; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
AND DECLARING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIl. OF THE CITY OF COl IEGE STATION,
TEXAS:

That Chapter 10, "Traffic Code", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College
Station, Texas, be amended as set out in Exhibit "A", a~_arhed hereto and made a
part of this ordinance for all purposes.
That if any provisions of any section of this ordinance shall be held to be void or
unconstitutional, such holding shall in no way effect the validity of the remaining
provisions or sections of this ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect.
That any person, fu'm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be
punishable by a frae of not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than
Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). Each day such violation shall continue or be
permitted to continue, shall be deemed a separate offense. Said Ordinance, being a
penal ordinance, becomes effective ten (10) days after ks date of passage by the City
Council, as provided by Section 35 of the Charter of the City of College Station.

EXHIBIT "A"
That Chapter 10, Section 4 F, of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows:
F. PARKING REGULATIONS FOR CERTAIN DESCRIBRD AltF. AS
No person shall stop, stand, or park a motor vehicle upon the following described
streets or portions of streets in 9iolafion of the par.king regulation for teat street or
portion of that street as set forth herein, except when necess_~ary to avoid conflict
:with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic
control device.
(3)
Spedal event parking. When Special Event Parking is in effect for a particular street
or portion of a street, the speciil event parking regfilation shall take precedence over
the following parking regul~ttions.
The following are certain areas in which specific parking regulations are hereby
designated:
(a) NO PARKING HERE TO CORNER
The east side of Fairview Avenue from its intersection with Old
Jersey, extending south 25 feet.
The east side of Fairview Avenue, extending north 25 feet and south
25 feet from ks intersections with Angus Street, Kerry Street, and
Guernsey.
The west side of Fairview Avenue, from its intersection with George
Bush Drive, extending south 60 feet.
The west side of Fairview Avenue, extending north 25 feet and south
25 t;eet from its intersections with Angus Street, Kerry Street, and
Fidelity Street.
The east side of Montdair Avenue from its intersection with Angus
Street, extending south 25 feet.
The east side of Montdair Avenue, extending north 25 feet and south
25 feet from its intersection with Kerry Street
The west side of Montdair Avenue, 165 feet south from ks
intersection with George Bush Drive, extending south 25 feet.

The west side of Montdair Avenue, from its intersection with Grove
Street, extending north 25 feet.
NO PARKING ANYTIME
Geo~e. Bush Drive, from its intersection with Texas Avenue,
extending west to its intersection with Wellborn Road.
('ti) The east side of Fairview Avenue, from its intersection with George
Bush Drive, extending south 160 feet.
The west side of Fairview Avenue, from its intersection with Kerry
Street, extending north 110 feet.
(iii) The east side of Montclair Avenue, from its intersection with George
Bush Drive, extending south 390 feet.
(iv) Church Avenue from its intersection with Wellborn Road extending
east to its intersection with University Drive.
TWO-HOUR PARKING 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. MONDAY-FRIDAY
(i) The east side of Fairview Avenue, 60 feet south from its intersecuon
with George Bush Drive, extending south 325 feet.
The east side of Fairview Avenue, 25 feet south from its intersection
with Old Jersey, extending south 185 feet.
The east side of Fairview Avenue, 25 feet south from intersecuon
with Angus Street, extending south 170 feet.
The west side of Fairview Avenue, 25 feet south from its intersection
with Angus Street, extending south 85 feet.
(ii) The east side of Montclair Avenue, 25 feet south from its intersecuon
with Angus Street, extending south 175 feet.~
Th~ west side of Montdair Avenue, 190 feet south from its
intersection with George Bush Drive, extending south 535 feet.
