RESOLUTION NO. 10-10-85-10
WHEREAS, On January 24th 1985, the City
adopted Ordinance 1569, accepting the
Personnel Policies and Procedures
Handbook; and
WHEREAS, The Handbook shall be amended from time
to time to reflect changes that may be
necessitated by State and Federal laws;
and
WHEREAS, The Supreme Court has ruled that State
and Local governments must now comply
with the Fair Labor Standard Act; and
WHEREAS, Certain City policies have to be altered
to reflect those federal standards; now
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, by the City Council
of the City of College Station, Texas,
that: The City Council adopt the
amendments set forth in Section III.
C. I. and Section TV.. C. of the
Personnel Policies and Procedures
Handbook.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 10th day of
October , 1985.
