AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR THE USE OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY AS A CREMATORY, MAUSOLEUM AND/OR CEMETERY, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1'
That the City Council hereby finds that the use of the property for the Aggie Field
of Honor, Inc., does not adversely affect the public health, safety and welfare.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby finds that the property chosen for the Aggie Field of
Honor, Inc., has limited urban growth potential.
PART 3:
That the application for the 11.63 acre Pornada Tract at the northwest comer of
Harvey Mitchell and Raymond Stotzer Parkways as shown in Exhibit A, attached
and made a part of this ordinance for all purposes, is hereby approved.
PART 4: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately from and at, er its passage
by the City Council, as provided by Section 35 of the Charter of the City of
College Station, Texas.

EXHIBIT A
Legal description of the land:
All that certain tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in the JOSEPH E. SCOTT LEAGUE, Abstract No.
50, in the City of College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being ali that 11.63 acres (called 11.583 acres) described
in the deed to Ella bi. Hoerner from John D. Hoerner, recorded in Volume 292, page 80 of the Deed Records of
Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod in concrete at the west corner ofsaid 11.63 acre tract;
THENCE N 44° 49' 58" E - 424.08 feet to an iron rod for corner in the southwest right-of-way line of F.M. 2818;
THENCE S 42° 25' 09" E - 187.07 feet, S 39° 53' 02" E - 399.64 feet, S 35° 48' 11" E - 401.84 feet, S 28° 21' 00" E-
551.75 feet and S 10° 31' 58" E - 251.95 feet along said F.M. 2818 line to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE N 45° 36' 49" W - 1153.82 feet and N 45° 16' 53" W - 562.95 feet along a fence line to the PLACE OF
BEGINNING and containing I 1.63 acres of land, more or less.
