AN ORDINANCE (BUDGET AMENDMENT 1) AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
WHICH WILL AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 200'1-2002 FISCAL YEAR
AUTHORIZING AMENDED EXPENDITURES AS THEREIN PROVIDED.

AND
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, approved its Budget Ordinance for the
2001-2002 Fiscal Year on September 13, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, desires to amend the approved Budget
Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, this amendment was prepared and presented to the City Council and a public hearing held
thereon as prescribed by law and the Charter of The City of College Station, Texas, after notice of said
hearing having been first duly given; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
Part 1:
That Part 1 of the Budget Ordinance for the 2001-2002 Fiscal Year is amended to read as
follows:
"PART 1: That the proposed budget as amended by the City Council of the City of College
Station, which is made a part hereof to the same extent as if set forth at length herein, is
hereby adopted and approved, a copy of which is on file in the Office of the City Secretary in
College Station Texas. Amended appropriations for fiscal year 2001-2002 for the General
Fund are $32,613,323 and for the Electric Fund are $46,076,516, and for the Water Fund are
$15,497,295, and for the Wastewater Fund are $7,679,082, and for the Sanitation Fund are
$4,742,981, and for the BVSWMA Fund are $5,214,909, and for the Parking Enterprise Fund
are $1,004,242, and for the Internal Service Funds are $2,239,601, and for the Utility Billing
Fund are $2,184,718, and for the Equipment Replacement Fund are $2,456,975, and for the
General Government Capital Improvement Project Funds are $1,856,500, and for the Parks
Capital Project Fund are $1,173,000, and for the Street Capital Projects Fund are
$12,503,575. All other appropriations as originally adopted and amended by the City Council
remain in full force and effect."
Part 2: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately after passage and approval.
