A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, APPOINTING A CITY'S
REPRESENTATIVE ON THE BRAZOS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD OF
DIRECTORS FOR A TWO-YEAR TERM COMMENCING ON JANUARY 1, 2002; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 9-13-2001-11.07 the City Council voted to increase the
membership of the Brazos County Appraisal District Board of Directors to seven
members; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 9-13-2001-11.07 authorized the College Station City Council to
appoint one member to the seven -member Board of Directors each odd -
numbered year; and
WHEREAS, TEXAS TAX CODE, Section 6.03, provides that terms of offices for the Board
Members shall be two years in length; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
That the City Council hereby appoints Virginia Kettler as the City's
representative on the Brazos County Appraisal District Board of Directors for a two-year term
commencing on January 1, 2002. The City Secretary is hereby authorized to notify Chief
Appraiser Gerald L. "Buddy" Wynn of said appointment.
