HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-15-01-11.03 - Resolution - 11/15/2001RESOLUTION NO.11-15-2001-11.03 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR PHASE II OF THE GRAHAM ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS. WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited bids for the construction phase of Phase II Graham Road Rehabilitation Project; and WHEREAS, the selection of TexCon, Inc. is being recommended as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction services related to the Graham Road Rehabilitation Project, Phase II; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas: PART 1: That the City Council hereby finds that TexCon, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with TexCon, Inc. for $1,387,073.00 for the labor, materials and equipment required for the improvements related the Graham Road Rehabilitation Project, Phase II. PART 3: That the funding for this Project shall be as budgeted from the Drainage Utility Fund, in the amount of $150,000.00 and the General Obligation Fund, in the amount of $975,899.81. The remaining $330,000.00 are available in the Victoria OP Project, ST-9928. PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
