A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF CREDIT CARDS AND THE CITY'S
PAYMENT OF THE CREDIT CARD FEES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, is authorized to accept credit
cards for utility service and to have the City pay the fees charged by credit card companies; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, desires to offer this payment
as a way for customers to pay bills in person, by telephone and by the internet; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1: That the City Council of the City of College Station hereby approves the
acceptance of credit card payment for utility customers.
PART 2: That the City Council of the City of College Station hereby approves the City
paying the fees charged by credit card companies associated with the acceptance
of credit cards.
PART 3: That this resolution shall take effect immediately on October 1, 2001.
ADOPTED this 27th day of September, A.D. 2001.
