Dear Ron:
I have attached a cost estimate that was prepared by Gary Marske concerning the
conversion of the existing practice fields at Southwood Athletic Park into playing fields
for tee ball. Gary's crews can provide the labor if Little League purchases the materials. As
we stated at the meeting last week, we are not able to expand our service level beyond
what we are currently providing and this seems to be the best interim solution for next
year.
Please look this estimate over and let us know what you want to do. The prices could vary
somewhat from this estimate, however, the overall cost should be within the $3,000 -
$3,500 range for the items listed. Any additional improvements would increase this
amount. A prompt reply is required if you want to have a minimal turf established for next
year.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Dear Mr. Beachy,
The homeowners of Brookway Circle in Windwood Subdivision want to express
our sincere thanks for the timely fashion in which lighting was installed in Windwood
Park. We now have an opportunity to monitor the park and its mischievous late night
guest(s). This has strengthened the relationship between the homeowners and also
between the homeowners and the City of College Station.
Sincerely,
mela and D Boudah

THE TEXAS CHAPTER OF THE
AMERICAN FISHERIES SOCIETY

David Gerling
City of College Station
College Station, Texas
Dear David Gerling:
Thanks to the support of our many contributors, the raffle and auction held at the
1995 Annual Meeting of Texas Chapter of the American Fisheries Society was an
enormous success. Waiver of $50.00 fee for park use that you so kindly provided,
allowed our chapter to put more money in our our Fisheries Student Scholarship
fund. This year the Chapter was able to raise over $1,800.00. This fund assists
students in completing their studies and may allow some to attend professional
meetings to present the results of their research when they could not otherwise
attend.
Thank you again for your support.
Sincerely,
Richard Ott --Mark Stacell
