This meeting will offer both in-person and remote participation following both the City’s
Guidelines for in-person, virtual attendance, and the speaker protocol in the agenda. The city
uses a third-party vendor to help host the meeting and if the call-in number is not functioning
access will be through the internet link only.
1.Call meeting to order and consider absence requests.
2.Hear Visitors.
At this time, the Chairperson will open the floor to in-person visitors wishing to address the Board on
issues not already scheduled on today's agenda. An individual who wishes to address the Board in-
person regarding any item on the agenda shall register with the Board Secretary prior to 12 p.m. on
the day of the meeting. To register, the individual must provide a name and phone number by calling
979.764.5044 or emailing gfuentes@cstx.gov prior to 4 p.m. To submit written comments to the Board,
email gfuentes@cstx.gov and they will be distributed to the Board. The visitor presentations will be
limited to three minutes in order to accommodate everyone who wishes to address the Board and to
allow adequate time for completion of the agenda items. The Board will receive the information, ask
city staff to look into the matter, or will place the matter on a future agenda for discussion. (A recording
is made of the meeting; please give your name and address for the record.)

4.Discussion and possible action on future agenda items.
A member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of specific
factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation shall be limited to
a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting.
5.Tour of the Lick Creek Greenway Trail - Weather permitting. (The tour will start no earlier
than 3:45 p.m.)
For this item and the remainder of this agenda, the Board will drive to the Lick Creek Greenway
trailhead located off of Midtown Drive (generally located across from the rear driveway of Christ United
Methodist Church - 4201 State Highway 6 South).
5.1.Discussion regarding the Lick Creek Greenway Trail and new trailhead and parking lot.
5.2.Discussion regarding micromobility and the Veoride Cosmos.
5.3.Tour the trail from the trailhead to Pebble Creek Parkway and return to the trailhead.
6.Adjourn.

ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
Monday, February 21, 2022, 3:00 PM

MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairperson Elizabeth Cunha, Dennis Jansen, Kathy Langlotz, Joy
Chmelar, Brad Brimley, Jake Madewell and Becky Brooker.
STAFF PRESENT: City Engineer Carol Cotter, Bicycle, Pedestrian and Greenways
Planning Administrator Venessa Garza, Mobility Planning Intern
Leo Martinez, Staff Assistant Crystal Fails, and Board Secretary
Grecia Fuentes.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Call to Order and consider absence requests.
Chairperson Cunha called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
There were no absence requests for consideration.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Hear Visitors.
There were no visitors who requested to speak.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Agenda Items.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 3.1: Consideration, discussion, and possible action to approve
meeting minutes.
Board Member Langlotz motioned to approve the minutes from November 15, 2021. The
motion was seconded by Board Member Jansen and minutes were approved (7-0).
AGENDA ITEM NO. 3.2: Presentation and discussion regarding the Bicycle,
Pedestrian and Greenways Advisory Board calendar of upcoming meetings.
• March 21, 2022, at 3:00 p.m.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 3.3: Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding
National Bike Month including the Cycle with Council event.
Ms. Garza stated that the Parks Department confirmed Central Park was available on May
21st including the pavilion and restrooms. A portion of Wolf Pen Creek will not be available
due to another event happening that day.
There was general discussion amongst the Board members regarding different bike routes
submitted. Some of the comments included the following:
• The traffic light stops will be hard to cross for families with small children.

• Routes with hills and rough roads should be reconsidered for participants pulling child
carriers.
Board member Langlotz will modify her suggested bike route and will send it out to the
Board on or before the March meeting. The Board also agreed to decide on a final route by
next month’s meeting.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 3.4: Presentation and discussion regarding the following items
related to biking, walking, and greenways:
• Bond Citizen Advisory Committee Meetings:
All future meetings will be on Mondays at 6:00 pm. Member Langlotz is the Board’s
representative.
• College Station Comprehensive Plan:
Board members will look at the Comprehensive Plan and take turns leading a
discussion on sections of the Comprehensive Plan that relate to biking, walking, and
greenways. Board member Brimley volunteered to lead the discussion in March.
• Future City Council Meetings:
There weren’t any items related to biking, walking, or greenways for discussion.
