Sherry Frisk obtained estimates for a restoration project. The conservator was recommended to Sherry Frisk by the Texas Historical Commission in Austin, Tx. The

any restoration could be started the committee would need to get approval from the families who own each headstone. Sherry Frisk has also been speaking with Jane Cohen about having a cemetery walk in October. She is wanting this to possibly be a city-sponsored event. Councilwoman Linda Harvell stated for the city to sponsor the restoration project and the
social event the Parks Department would need to present a budget request to City Council. Sherry Frisk will need to obtain the costs and essentials needed for both projects to present to parks for a proposal. Ana Romero stated she will set up a meeting with Sherry Frisk to discuss these projects. Julie Schultz made a motion to give Sherry Frisk the approval to speak with Parks and Recreation on behalf of HPC about the restoration of tombstones within the cemetery. • Exploring History Lunch Series: Sherry Frisk is wanting to change her date from October to
September. Councilwoman Linda Harvell will have to check with her schedule and her co-
