This week has been designated
as "U. S. Army Reserve Week"
and the nation's Army Reserve
units, numbering 3,495, will parF,
ticipate in a series of special
events to mark its 60th anniver
sary.
With 60 years under its belt,
the Reserve looks ahead with
additional pride and optimism
towards the future, according to
Major G e n e ral W. J. Sutton,
chief of the Army Reserve.
J. D. (Jack) Conelee and D. A.
(Andy) Anderson, m a y o r s of
Bryan and College Station, have
signed Proclamations to further,
designate the anniversary in this
area.
