WHEREAS, Little Lea-
gue Baseball is symbolic
of America and the high-
est concepts of demo-
cracy, ,citizenship and
teamwork, and
WHEREAS, this great
movement more than two embraces
boys under 12 years of age
who are helped to become
responsible Americans of
the future and
WHEREAS, thousands of
adult volunteers, whose
only motive is to cultiv-
ate a wholesome, benefi-
ial climate of formative
training and who give us-
tintingly of their time and
r energies to this end,and
WHEREAS, Little Lea-
gue Baseball in the City
of College Station is a
wholesome recreational
outlet for the youth of our
Comm
a community.
NOW, THEREFORE, I,

d claim the week beginning
r June 2, 1969 as the per-
iod for observance of
LITTLE LEAGUE BASE-
BALL WEEK in the City
of College Station and
urge all citizens reco-
gnize and give support to
the program of Little
League Baseball
