Zidell Properties of Dallas
have been issued a building
permit for the construction of
a 191 unit complex on 6.5664
acres in the Culpepper Plaza
addition located on FM 30 and
Highway 6 South.
According to Allan Zidell of
Zidell Properties, negotiations
are still in process for awarding
the $1,206,881 contract.
"The project is divided into
two sections. One section will
house family type tenents. They
will have separate pool area,
a nursery, and a playground.
The other section will bean
adult section, which will contain
a separate recreation and pool
area," Zidell reported.
The contemporary t y p e
building will consist of
townhouses, studio apartments
and one, two, ahd three
bedroom apartments. "We will
have both furnished and un-
furnished apartments. Rent will
range from $140 to $250 with
all bills paid," he said.
Zidell properties own and
will be 16 different courtyards
with each courtyard having its
own barbecue facilities.
Resident manager will be
Mrs. Dorothy Shipper, present
manager of Monaco I Apart-
ments. "Any one desiring in•
formation can call Mrs. Ship-
per," Zidell noted.
Z i d e 11 concluded, "We're
talking about a $2.25 million
project. It will be a luxury type
development with the privacy
of the tenents being an im-
portant factor.
