AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, "TRAFFIC CODE", OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION. TEXAS, BY AMENDING
CERTAIN SECTIONS AS SET OUT BELOW; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
DECLARING A PENALTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1:
That Chapter 10, "Traffic Code", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College
Station, Texas, be amended as set out in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a
part of this ordinance for all purposes.
PART 2:
That it' any provisions of any secuon of this ordinance shall be held to be void or
unconstitutional, such holding shall in no way effect the validity of the remaining
provisions or sections of this ordinance, which shall remain in full force and
effect.
PART 3
That any person, firm, or corporation wolating any of the provisions of this
chapter shall be deemed liable for a civil offense and/or guilty of a Class C
misdemeanor, and. upon a finding of liability thereof, shall be pumshed by a civil
penalty of not less than Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.001 nor more than Five
Hundred Dollars ($500.00). Said Ordinance, being a penal ordinance, becomes
effective ten (10) days after its publicauon in the newspaper, as provided by
Section 34 of the Charier oft.he City of College Station.

EXHIBIT
That Chapter 10. "Traffic Code". Section 4.E(3)(b). "NO PARKING ANYTIME". of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of College Statton. Texas. is hereby amended, by adding paragraphs
(xxxiv and xxxv) as set out hereafter to read as follows:
(xxxivY'On the west side of South Dexter Street. from its intersection w~th Thomas Street
and extending north 350 feet."
(xxxv) "On the east side of South Dexter Street, beginning 200 feet north of ~ts
intersection with Thomas Street and extending north 150 feet."
