2) Public Comments Regarding Items Not on the Agenda
-Individuals who wish to address the Policy Board must contact Lisa Lyon at llyon@bcsmpo.org to
obtain Zoom log in information. When requesting access to comment, please include your name,
address and the topic you would like to discuss. Please limit your comments to three minutes per
topic.

5) FY 2021 – FY 2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
-The Transportation Improvement Program is produced semi-annually and is list of all
transportation projects to be constructed or under construction over the next four years. Ungrouped
projects are broken into two categories. The first is Highway/Active Transportation Projects that
are determined by the MPO or awarded to the MPO and/or one of the jurisdictions it represents.
The second are Transit Projects that are selected by the local designated recipient (Brazos Transit
District) and approved by the MPO through adoption of this TIP. Grouped Projects are those that
will be constructed or under construction during the four-year period but are selected by TxDOT
and approved by the MPO through adoption of this TIP. The Technical Advisory Committee
recommended the document to the Policy Board for adoption and directed staff to begin the 30-day
public comment period on June 5, 2020. Action Required. (See attachment.)
