. Narrative History:
o The house was built in 1938 in the Colonial Revival Style. It is located in
what was called the Oak Wood Addition which was developed in 1936.
The Oak Wood Addition has 3 main streets which were known as "the
Generals," Lee, Pershing and Jackson (which is know Park Place). The
house is located at 210 Lee Avenue. It was originally purchased by the
Godbeys in 1938, after which was obtained by the Martin family in 1961.
Commandant Burton bought the house in 1964 and made minor alterations
