A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, SELECTING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS FOR THE DESIGN ALTERNATIVES FOR SELECTED SITES PROPOSED
BY THE COLLEGE STATION GREENWAYS MASTER PLAN PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, negotiated for professional services for the
analysis and design of specific greenway sites; and
WHEREAS, the selection of Dr. Jon Rodiek, College of Architecture, Department of Landscape
Architecture and Urban Planning, contracting through the Texas A&M Research Foundation, is
being recommended as the provider of the design services; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART I:
That the City Council hereby finds that Dr. Jon Rodiek, acting through the
Texas A&M Research Foundation is a qualified provider of the services
for Greenway Design Alternatives.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with the Texas A&M
Research Foundation for an amount not to exceed $55,957 for the
Greenway Design Alternatives Project.
PART3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the 1998
Drainage Improvement Bond Fund in the amount of $55~957.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 20th day of December, A.D. 2001.
