Chairperson Harvell called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m. AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Hear Visitors. There were no visitors who wished to speak. AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Consideration, discussion, and possible action to approve absence requests.  MiChal Hall – September 16, 2019 Board Member LeBlanc motioned to approve the meeting absences. The motion was seconded by Board Member Brooker and was approved (4-0). AGENDA ITEM NO. 4: Consideration, discussion, and possible action to approve meeting minutes. Board Member Brooker motioned to approve the meeting minutes from August 19, 2019. The motion was seconded by Board Member LeBlanc and was approved (4-0). AGENDA ITEM NO. 5: Presentation and discussion regarding an update on the following items:  TAMU Bicycle Share Program  Safe Routes to Schools  Safe Passing Ordinance Joe Brummer with VeoRide gave an update regarding the Bicycle Share Program. He gave the board a handout showing the usage numbers in the last month. Board Member Sanchez arrived at 3:05 p.m. There was general discussion amongst the board regarding the bicycle share program. Senior program manager Venessa Garza gave an update regarding the safe routes to school program and the safe passing ordinance. She stated that she will be meeting the Board member Sanchez and Board Member Brooker to discuss the next steps for safe routes to schools. She also stated that there were no new updates in regards to the safe passing ordinance. This will be going to the transportation committee in October. There was general discussion amongst the board regarding the safe routes to school program and the safe passing ordinance. AGENDA ITEM NO. 6: Presentation and discussion regarding the greenways program. Senior program manager Garza gave an overview of the history of the greenways program. She also discussed the Adopt-a-Greenway program. There was general discussion amongst the board regarding the greenways program.
