July 7-13
Mayors,J. O. Conlee of Bryan and D. A. Ander-
son of College Station on have signed a joint proclaima-
tion naming July 7-13 ',Civi! Air Patrol Week in the
twin cities.
During the week, TALON Flight, the local C.
A.P. unit, will hold a clothing drive for the orphans
of the Nha Trang Sun of South Viet Nam. Old child-
ren's cIothing and extra blankets will be collected.
The goal is to accumulate over 500 lbs. of clothes.
The unit will also hold recruiting drives in the local
shopping centers and conclude the week with an,/
"Ice Cream Eat-In" at the A&M Consolidated Cafe-
teria, and a car wash at U-Wash-M, 3015 S. College.
Clothing donations will be taken at all unit
functionsl Schedual: Wednesday - July 10 - Manor
East (Wards). Thursday - July 11 - Redmond Terrace
(Gibson's). Fricay - July 12 - ice Cream "Eat-In"
2 p.m. - 9 p.m. A&M Consolidated Cafeteria. Sat-
urday - July 13 - Car Wash; 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. U-Wash-M
3015 South College.
