AN ORDINANCE LEVYING THE AD VALOREM TAXES FOR THE USE AND
SUPFORT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING FOR THE GENERAL DEBT SERVICE FUND
FOR THE YEAR 2004-05 AND APPORTIONING EACH LEVY FOR THE SPECIFIC
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
SECTION I That there is hereby lev~ed and there shall be collected for the use and support of
the mumcipal government of the City of College Station, Texas, and to prowde General Debt
Service for the 2004-05 fiscal year upon all property, real, personal and m. cxed w)!hm the
corporate limits of said c~ty subjecl to taxat on. a tax of forty-six and forty nundredtl~s cenls
~$0 4640} on each one hundred dollar ~.$100 00) valuauon of property, and smd tax being so
levied and apportioned to the specific purpose herein set forth'
For the maintenance and support of the general government
(General Fund). nineteen and forty-two hundredths cents
($0 1942) on each one hundred dollar ($100 00} valuation of
property; and
2. For the general obligation debl service (Debt Service Fund}.
twenty-six and nmely-e~ghl hundredths cents ($0 2698) on each
one hundred dollars ($100 00} valuation of properly to be used
for principal and interest paymenls on bonds and other
obligations or'the fund
SECTION II. All moneys collected under this ordinance for the specific items therein nm'ned.
shall be and the same are hereby appropriated and set apart for the specific purpose indicated in
each ilem and the Assessor and Collector of Taxes and the D~rector of Fiscal Services shall keep
these accounts so as to readily and d~stinctly show the amount collected, the amounts expended
