AGENDA
A quorum of the City Council may or may not attend the Senior Advisory Committee Meeting.
I. Call to order.
II. Hear Visitors – Stacey Maines from Encompass Hospice.
III. Approval of minutes from September 30, 2019 meeting.
IV. Welcome and comments by Chairman Frank Duchmasclo.
V. Discussion on outgoing Senior Advisory Committee Members, recruitment for 2020
and recommendations for Chairperson & Vice-chairperson.
VI. Discussion on building update proposal and survey led by Clay David Hanks.
VII. Goals Committee update and discussion led by Jerry Crockett.
VIII. Presentation, discussion, and possible action on Senior Services Coordinator Report
regarding current and upcoming programs and events.

• Oct. 24 – Senior Fall Fest at the American Pavilion in Veteran’s Park

Francis Wolf Sanctuary
• Nov. 6 – New Class-Clogging from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday’s at Meyer
Center
• Nov. 20 – Exploring History Lunch Lecture “Bremond’s Polish community”
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. @ Larry J. Ringer Library
• Nov. 21 – November Senior Dance – 7-9 p.m. @ Meyer Center
• Nov. 22 – Thanksgiving Pot Luck & Social – 11:30a.m.-1 p.m. (all other
activities are cancelled)
IX. Presentation, discussion, and possible action on future agenda items: A Committee
member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A
statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be
given. Any deliberation shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an
agenda for a subsequent meeting.
X. Adjourn

“Pursuant to Section 30.07, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with an openly carried
handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun
licensing law), may not enter this property with a handgun that is carried openly”.
Código Penal §30.07. Traspasar Portando Armas de Mano al Aire Libre con Licencia.
“Conforme a la Sección 30.07 del código penal (traspasar portando armas de mano al aire libre
con licencia), personas con licencia bajo del Sub-Capitulo H, Capitulo 411, Código de Gobierno
(Ley de licencias de arma de mano), no deben entrar a esta propiedad portando arma de mano al
aire libre”.
