AN ORDINANCE (BUDGET AMENDMENT 2) AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
2658 WHICH WILL AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 2003-2004 FISCAL YEAR AND
AUTHORIZING AMENDED EXPENDITURES AS THEREIN PROVIDED.
WHEREAS. the C~ty Council of the C~ty of College Stsben, Texas, approved ~ts Budget
Ordinance for the 2003-2004 Fiscal Year on August 28, 2003. and
WHEREAS, the C~ty Councd of the C~ty of College Stebon, Texas, demres to amend the
approved Budget Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the C~ty Councd of the C~ty of College Station, Texas approved an amendment to its
Budget Ordinance for the 2003-2004 Fiscal Year on March 25, 2004; and
WHEREAS, this amendment was prepared and presented to the CCy Councd and a public
hearing held thereon as prescnbed by law and the Charter of The Cdy of College Stabon, Texas,
after nobce of smd heanng having been first duly g~ven, now, therefore,
DE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
Pert 1:
That Part 1 of the Budget Ordinance for the 2003-2004 Fiscal Year ~s amended fo
read as follows
"PART 1: That the proposed budget as amended by the City Council of the City of
College Station, which ~s made a part hereof to the same extent as If set forth et
length herein, ~s hereby adopted and approved, a copy of which ts on file in the Office
of the C~ Secretary in College Station Texas Amended appropriations for fiscal
year 2003-2004 for the General Fund are $37,504,770, and for the Police Smzure
Fund are $21,470, and for the Electric Fund are $45,068,680, and for the Water Fund
are $18,813,776, and for the Wastewater Fund are $9,148,208, and for the
Sanltetmn Fund are $4,887,758, and for the BVSWMA Fund are $12,207,832, and
for the Parking Enterpdea Fund are $981,774, and for the Utility Customer Sen, ice
Fund are $2,332,711, and for the Fleet Services Fund are $1,374,259, and for the
Employee Benefits Fund are $4,856,437, and for the Property Casualty Fund are
$547,145, and for the Workers Compensation Fund are $685,645 and for the Parks
Cap~tal Project Fund are $1,120,294, and for the Parks Escrow Fund are $339,000.
All other appropnabens as originally adopted and amended by the C~ty Council
remain in full furce and effect"
Pert 2: That th~s ordinance shall become effective immediately alter passage and approval
