The City Council may or may not attend the Senior Advisory Committee Meeting.
AGENDA
I. Call to order
II. Hear Visitors
III. Approval of minutes from March 25, 2019 meeting
IV. Report from Kelly Kelbly, Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation
V. Report and possible discussion by Chairman Frank Duchmasclo on SAC mail outs
and a call for reports from the sub-committees, 2019 Goal Sub-committee and the
2019 Web Site Sub-committee.
VI. Presentation, possible action and discussion on Senior Services Coordinator Report
regarding current and upcoming programs and events
April 30-Potluck & Pizza Social with live music by the Jam Session Players
12-3:30 p.m. & a “Decorate an Easter Bonnet or Hat Contest”
May 3-Grand Opening of the Bob & Wanda Meyer Senior & Community
Center 10 a.m. to noon
May 6-First Day of Operations and Programming at Bob & Wanda Meyer
Senior & Community Center 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
May 8-Seniors Expo at the Brazos County Expo Center 9-2
VII. Tour of the Bob & Wanda Meyer Senior & Community Center by Kelly Kelbly. The
new Senior 15 passenger van will be used to shuttle committee members to the center
or members may drive their personal vehicle.
VIII. Presentation, discussion and possible action on future agenda items: A Committee
member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A
statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be
given. Any deliberation shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an
agenda for a subsequent meeting.
IX. Adjourn
