A statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting. 10. Adjourn. The Board or Commission may adjourn into Executive Session to consider any item listed on this agenda if a matter is raised that is appropriate for Executive Session discussion. An announcement will be made of the basis for the Executive Session discussion. Chairperson Harvell called the meeting to order at 3:01 p.m. AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Hear Visitors. There were no visitors who wished to speak. AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Consideration, possible action, and discussion to approved meeting minutes. Board Member Evans motioned to approve the meeting minutes from January 22, 2019 with note that the dates for agenda item No. 7 need to be fixed. The motion was seconded by Board Member Hall and was approved (6-0). AGENDA ITEM NO. 4: Presentation and discussion regarding an update on the following items:  TAMU Bicycle Share Program Ron Steedly from Texas A&M University gave an update regarding the Bicycle Share Program. There was general discussion amongst the board regarding the Bicycle Share Program. AGENDA ITEM NO. 5: Presentation and discussion regarding bicycle safety. Robert Rose gave a presentation regarding bicycle safety asking for consideration of a Veloway, a Vision Zero policy, a safe passing ordinance and a bicycle safety subcommittee. There was general discussion amongst the board. AGENDA ITEM NO. 6: Presentation and discussion regarding education and encouragement including the Annual Brazos Valley Earth Day Festival. Senior Program Manager Venessa Garza gave a presentation regarding the Brazos Valley Earth Day Festival. She shared safety materials that would be passed out at the event and asked for volunteers to sign up and help at the event. There was general discussion amongst the board.
