1. Call meeting to order.
2. Executive Session will be held in the Administrative Conference Room.
Consultation with Attorney {Gov’t Code Section 551.071};
Possible action. The City Council may seek advice from its attorney regarding a pending or
contemplated litigation subject or settlement offer or attorney -client privileged information .
Litigation is an ongoing process and questions may arise as to a litigation tactic or
settlement offer, which needs to be discussed with the City Council. Upon occasion the City
Council may need information from its attorney as to the status of a pending or
contemplated litigation subject or settlement offer or attorney -client privileged information .
After executive session discussion, any final action or vote taken will be in public. The
following subject(s) may be discussed:

Possible action. The City Council may deliberate, vote, or take final action on a competitive
matter as that term is defined in Gov't Code Section 552.133 in closed session. The
following is a general representation of the subject matter to be considered:
a. Power Supply
Economic Incentive Negotiations {Gov't Code Section 551.087};
Possible action. The City Council may deliberate on commercial or financial information
that the City Council has received from a business prospect that the City Council seeks to
have locate, stay or expand in or near the city which the City Council in conducting
economic development negotiations may deliberate on an offer of financial or other
incentives for a business prospect. After executive session discussion, any final action or
vote taken will be in public. The following subject(s) maybe discussed:
a. Economic incentives for a project located generally in the area northeast of the
intersection of Raymond Stotzer Parkway and Highway 47 in College Station.

Recommendation: Staff requests that the Council receive the presentation and provide feedback and direction,
as desired.
Summary: The City Council requested that information related to the City of Bryan's neighborhood protection
ordinances be provided as a future agenda item at their June 28th meeting. Martin Zimmermann, AICP,
Assistant Director of Planning and Development Services for the City of Bryan, will give a brief overview of
Bryan’s Residential Conservation District (R-NC) and a recent ordinance amendment that defines and
regulates stealth dorms as “Detached Shared Housing."

Recommendation: Staff requests that the Council discuss the item and provide feedback and direction, as
desired.
Summary: The City Council requested a discussion related to televising Planning and Zoning Workshop
meetings as a future agenda item at their September 27th meeting.
The Planning and Zoning Commission discussed this item at their September 6th meeting. At the close of the
discussion, the Commission expressed that while their preference is that workshop remain untelevised, they
are comfortable changing, as Council directs.
Related to the Commission's preference, the following points were discussed:
•Workshop meetings are open to the public;
•No action is taken nor hearings held in workshop; and
•Workshop allows members to relate and interact more informally with each other and provides an
opportunity to ask questions and learn from staff.
