The Consolidated golf team, playing in the same district with Tomball, one of
the state's best golf teams, finished second in district play. They turned in a score of
379 for 18 holes in their top foursome.
In the regional meet, the Tigers' first foursome had a 2 7 -hole total of 571 and
finished 30 strokes behind first -place Tomball, but C. H. S. was almost 100 strokes
ahead of the third -place team.
The only other contests for Coach William Miller's lads were three dual meets
with top-notch Brenham; whose top two foursomes finished number one and two,
respectively, in district. C. H. S. captured one win in the three dual matches. Stead-
man Davis was the team captain.
