The Consolidated Tigers smashed Tomball's
down -trodden Cougars 21-7 to jump into a
four-way deadlock for second place in district
standings with a 2-2 mark. This win upped
the Tigers full season record to 5-4.
Engelbrecht went 64 yards for the Tigers
first T. D., while Bobby Joe Wade scampered
2l yards for the next tally. Billy Mixon picked
off a loose pigskin in mid -air and sprinted 15
yards for C. H. S.'s last six -pointer. J. B. Car-
roll booted three consecutive conversions.
Norman Floeck, Manuel Garcia, Jack Mc-
Neely, and Bobby Johnson played fine defensive
ball.
