2. Possible action concerning requests for absences of members.
3. Hear visitors.
4. Consideration, possible approval, and discussion of minutes from the July 10,
2018 meeting.
5. Presentation, possible action and discussion of "off leash" Policy at Lick Creek
Park.
6. Report on Games of Texas.
7. Strategic Planning: Short and Long term.
■ Presentation, discussion, possible action regarding Parks and Recreation
Advisory Board Goals.
8. Report, discussion, and possible action concerning the current Parks Projects
Summary and Dedications of Less than Five Acres from Rusty Warncke.

9. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on future agenda items: A Board
Member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A
statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be
given. Any deliberation shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an
agenda for a subsequent meeting.

Kelbly; Assistant Director
Board Present:
Kevin Henderson; Ann Hays; Don Hellriegel; Michael Bata; Rebecca Jackson; Megan Fuentes
1. Call to order and Roll Call. The meeting was called to order with a quorum present at 6
P.
m
2. Possible action concerning requests for absences of members. Paul Dyson and Joel
Cantrell requested absences. Ann Hays made a motion to approve the absences, and
Rebecca Jackson seconded the motion. The vote was called. All were in favor, and the
motion passed unanimously.
3. Hear visitors. No visitors were present.
4. Consideration, possible approval, and discussion of minutes from the June 12,
2018 meeting. Michael Bota made a motion to approve the minutes, and Kevin
Henderson seconded the motion. The vote was called. All were in favor, and the motion
passed unanimously.
5. Report, possible action, and discussion concerning the current Parks Projects
Summary and Dedications of Less than Five Acres from Rusty Warncke.
Informational item only, no action was taken.

7. Tour: Central, Gabbard, Lincoln Center, The Barracks, Memorial Cemetery, Veteran's, Wolf
Pen festival site and Arts Council area.
8. Adjourn. Rebecca Jackson made a motion to adjourn the meeting, and Michael Bota
seconded the motion. The vote was called. All were in favor, and the meeting adjourned at
8:09 p.m.
