Planning and Zoning Commission
CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS
City Hall Training Room
June 6, 2002
6:30 P.M.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Commissioners Floyd, White, Hall, Williams, McMath,
and Shafer.
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Commissioner Trapani.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Council Member Massey.
STAFF PRESENT: Development Services Director Templin, City Planner
Kee, Senior Planner Battle, Development Review
Manager Ruiz, Assistant Development Review Manager
George, Staff Planners Hitchcock, Flanery, and Reeves,
Planning Intern Butler, Graduate Engineer Thompson,
Action Center Representative Steptoe, and Staff Assistant
Hazlett.
Chairman Floyd called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Discussion of Agenda Items.
None.
City Planner Kee explained to the Commission that a form should be completed by the Commissioners
when considering a plat with a variance request.
Commissioner McMath asked for another copy of the FCC Guidelines. Development Service Director
Templin explained the Commission's authority when considering cell towers.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 2:
Subcommittee Reports.
➢ Wolf Pen Creek Oversight: No report.
Chairman Floyd announced that the committees will be reconstituted.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Minor and Amending Plats approved by Staff.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 4: Discussion of Unified Development Code.
Development Services Director Templin announced that he has submitted a proposed schedule for the
completion of the UDO. A second joint meeting for the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City
Council to finalize the items that were not completed at the joint meeting on April 19. The first
meeting will be either July 12 or July 19.

Adjourn.
Commissioner Williams motioned to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Commissioner Shafer
The motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
