COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Commissioners Floyd, Happ, Trapani, McMath, Kaiser,
Hawthorne, and Williams.
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: None.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: None.
BOARD /COMMITTEE MEMBERS
PRESENT: Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Members, Steve Beachy,
Ric Ploeger, Glen Davis, and John Nichols; Historic
Preservation Committee, M. Lancaster; 4 -13, Nancy Crouch
STAFF PRESENT: Assistant City Manager Glenn Brown, Economic Development
Director Kim Foutz, City Planner Kee, Senior Planner Kuenzel,
Assistant Development Review Manager George, Staff
Planners Jimmerson, Hitchcock, and Reeves, Assistant City
Engineer Mayo, Graduate Engineer Thompson, Transportation

Chairman Floyd called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Advisory Board comments pertaining to the Unified Development Code.
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
Three areas identified for comments:
Sign Regulations - Section 7.2
How does it relate to the signage that is used in parks /sports facilities development
What is anticipated with respect to that ordinance
How will it be applied
Open -Space and Greenways, Parkland Use - Dimensions, User Availability
How could this apply to subdivisions consisting of small lots or units
How will it be allocated and interpreted once dedicated

Dedication Requirement - fee or waiver provision; where does it go and how is it spent
Maintenance of public space in the developments
Parkland Dedication Ordinance
Incorporate into the new UDO
Historic Preservation Committee
