MINUTES OF MEETING OF PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
October 11, 1965
The Planning and Zoning Commission met at the city hall of
College Station, Texas on October 11, 1965 at 5 o'clock and the
following members were present: Chairman E. E. Burns, W. A.
Smith, R. F. White, C. F. Richardson, and N. B. Bardell of the
city office was also present.
W. A. Smith moved that we recommend to the council that this
area be rezoned from a residential to a business property. In the
absence of Mr. Ran Boswell we are not aware of the use of the
adjacent property and make this recommendation accordingly. The
area in question is Lots 2 and 3 in the Kapchinski Division of the
Crawford Burnet Survey and located in the south city limits. This
request is being made by A. W. Woods and Nacy Bell of College
Station, Texas E. E. Burns seconded the motion. Motion carried.
R. F. White moved that we recommend to the council approval
of Reference Plat of part of Lots 1 and 2 of the D. A. Smith Subdivi-
sion showing 50 foot access street off of Highway 6 and Lincoln
Avenue as submitted by Mr. 11. D. Fitch. W. A. Smith seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
E. E. Burns recommended to the council for approval the request
410 by Mr. W. D. Fitch the Preliminary Plat of Ridgefield Re-Subdivision
of part of South Knoll Addition. C. F. Richardson seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
The Planning and Zoning Commission set their regular meetings
for the second Monday of each month.
