to fill a vacancy- by 6:00 p.m.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 24, 2018 Drawing for order of candidates on ballot,
City Secretary’s office, 9:00 a.m.
Last day to file as write-in candidate for
General/Special Election
MONDAY, AUGUST 27, 2018 Last day for a candidate to withdraw from
General and/or Special Election and have
name removed from ballot
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2018 First day to mail early ballots, if available
MONDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2018 Last day to submit voter registration
application to Brazos County Voter Registrar
MONDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2018 First report due of campaign and expenditures
by opposed candidates and specific purpose
committees
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2018 Last day to accept applications in person
for voting by mail ballot
MONDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2018 First day for early voting by personal
appearance
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2018 Last day to receive application by mail for a
ballot to be voted by mail
MONDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2018 Second report due of campaign and
expenditures by opposed candidates and
specific purpose committee

NOVEMBER 13-20 2018 Period for official canvass of election
