Several committee members provided updates:
-Henry Mayo reported that the Brazos County Historical Commission has approved $250. He also reported that he will follow up with Union Pacific regarding their donations.

-Mayor reported that he has contacted the medical community, and would follow up.
-Bill McGuire reported that he has issued a challenge to CSISD alumni classes to determine which class could raise the most donations.
Committee discussed the issue of donation requests being misplaced. Chair Harvell explained that she has placed a large logo in order to assist recognition, and committee decided that
follow up contacts would help avoid donations “falling through the cracks.”

for all other activities, but that the figures were somewhat flexible.

Mike Neu was unable to attend, so Tracy Paine provided a summary of the exhibit content and layout. She reported that 100 spots could be blocked for the car show, of the 200 in the lot.

Committee discussed exhibit content. The College Station robot has been located, but is in need of repairs. Committee discussed ways to restore it for the exhibit, and determined that
an operational robot is ideal, but a cosmetic restoration is acceptable. Committee discussed other items, such as images related to the Texas World Speedway, Culpepper developments,
and artifacts like a shoehorn from a downtown Bryan shoe store, Tiger mascot receipt, etc.
Committee also discussed the Union Pacific’s offer to locate heritage locomotives near the library. They also discussed banners, which could also be used on other occasions.
Committee additionally discussed living history and interactive content, such as mini-train rides for children (which may require insurance coverage), a square-dance exhibition in the
Rotunda, and a way to announce significant people to history when they arrive, such as Alvin Albright, who played as part of the 1939 team.
7. Homecoming Events, planning
Committee discussed homecoming activities and summarized events. The Friday night event, located at Bachmann park will be a paid event. Committee suggested ticket cost to be approximately
$10 to $15 per person. The venue was estimated to hold approximately 150 people.Sherry Frisk stated that Buppy’s catering is busy, so it would be good to secure a caterer quickly.
Committee verified the need for some sort of attendance list, but did not yet determine if it would be a list, tickets, or some other method. Committee discussed the feasibility of
setting
up online ticket sales. Committee discussed potential parking issues. They discussed a shuttle, carts, and either the Med or the St. Francis parking lots nearby as overflow. Committee
