Discuss condition of basement MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING 11/ OF THE BRYAN LIBRARY BOARD JULY 19, 1978 The Bryan Public Library Board of Trustees met on July 19, 1978 in the Reference Room of the Library. Present were Mrs. R. J. Holmgreen, President of the Board, Mr. Travis B. Bryan, Jr. , Mrs. Willie Pruitt, and Mrs. C. J. Allen. Absent were Mrs. R. H. Harrison, III, Mrs. Bookman Peters, and Mrs. Jesse Flores. Under regular business, the minutes of the June meeting were approved as written. The statistics were examined and discussed. Mrs. Allen moved acceptance of the booklist. Mr. Bryan seconded it. Mr. Bryan reported about Mr. Fred Eubank, who will serve as a collection agent for overdue library materials. He will tentatively begin working for the library on 111 October 1, 1978, on a trial basis. Mr. Bryan complimented the librarian on the job she has been performing and on the revised reporting forms which were developed for the Library Board. The librarian passed out copies of the budget work sheets and discussion about the proposed budget followed. The librarian and Library Board examined the poor condition of the library's basement . Much discussion followed and the Board will recommend further action at the next meeting. The meeting adjourned at 6:10 p.m. Mrs. R. J.
