Possible action concerning requests for absences of members. An absent request was sent for the September 9, 2014 meeting for David Sahm after 5 PM. 3. Hear visitors. 4. Consideration, possible approval, and discussion of minutes from the meeting September 9, 2014. 5. Update on 2014 Games of Texas and future Games of Texas events. 6. Update on the FY 2015 budget. 7. Approval of the Library ILA. 8. Report, possible action, and discussion concerning the current Capital Improvements Program: ➢ Park Projects Summary > In Process Park Projects ➢ Completed Park Projects > Dedications of Less than Five Acres ➢ Summit Crossing Phase 2A Subdivision (Neighborhood Zone 4, Community Zone C): this final plat creates 46 townhouse lots off Harvey Road and east of Crescente Pointe Subdivision. This project received Master Plan approval in 2007 before Community Park fees were required and dedicated 8.8 acres of neighborhood parkland with Phase 1. As a result, only the Neighborhood Park development fees of$358 per single-family lot(the amount required in 2007) is due for this subdivision. The developer is constructing the public infrastructure before taking the final plat to a future Planning &Zoning Commission meeting. > Castlegate II Section 105 (Neighborhood Zone 13, Community Zone A): this final plat creates 40 single-family lots. As the Castlegate II subdivision has dedicated neighborhood park land and constructed neighborhood park improvements, only the Community Park fees are due for this plat.The final plat was approved at the September 4th Planning &Zoning Commission meeting and fees will be paid when the public infrastructure is completed and the plat is ready to be filed. ➢ Castlegate II Section 105 (Neighborhood Zone 13, Community Zone A): this final plat divides a single-family lot into two lots so one additional lot is created. As the Castlegate II subdivision has dedicated neighborhood park land and constructed neighborhood park improvements, only The building is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign interpretive services must be made at least 48 hours before the meeting. To make arrangements call(979)764-3517 or(TDD)1-800-735-2989. Agendas may be viewed on www.cstx.gov. the Community Park fees are due for the one additional lot. As a minor replat, staff approved the plat and the fees were paid and plat filed for record in September. 9. A statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. I look for the contractor to set batter boards midweek next week. 2) Synthetic Field Drainage—Dudley's been working most of the week digging. 3) Veterans Shelter—No change since last week. I plan to contact the contractor today and see where we are. 4) Raintree Shelter—No work done at site. Demo was to start this week. Same contractor on this project as Veterans. 5) Southwest Park—Punch list is complete. Waiting on final payment. 6) WPC Fitness—Contractor is almost done with this project. Contractor should finish first part of next week,with a final walkthrough to follow. 7) Pebble Creek—I had meeting with the contractor,to discuss changes and pricing. 8) 502 Boyett—Choice Consulting has prepared all the necessary paperwork and should go out to bid next week. 9) Festival Site Restroom—Pre bid meeting scheduled for Wednesday October 8th at 2pm. Bid opening will be the following Thursday,the 16th at 2pm, City Hall 2"d floor conference room two. 10) Festival Site Outlets—I met with Britt Rice this week for a quote. I will not have a price till the week of October 13th. Next week I will met with Dailey Electric to make sure their price is still good since it's been over thirty days. 11) Southwood curb painting—still on the list 12) Thomas and Bee Creek Swing—Pre bid meeting set for Thursday, October 9th, with the bid opening scheduled for October 170 at City Hall, second floor, conference room 1. 13) Allison and GIS—A meeting was held this Wednesday to discuss how all groups can work together in an efficient manner. In attendance was COCS GIS team,A&M GIS group,Allison,Amy and myself.The meeting went very well.All groups are on board and can't wait to chip in. Allison has also been working with JD and myself on the expansion of Veterans Park.Allison has created a map to add future fields,the championship field, extra parking lots and a few extras. 14) A&M Drinking Fountain Group—No word from this group. 15) COCS ADA Transition Plan—Yesterdays kick-off meeting went well. Central and Southwood Parks where selected to be evaluated by the firm.The evaluations will happen over the next four months.Three City buildings, twenty signalized intersections,three miles of sidewalk and associated curb ramps are just a few of the things they will be evaluating.
