They are fully committed to making a big difference in improving the world around us whenever an opportunity presents itself. It makes it fun to come to work! Thanks again, Tony >>> David Gwin 4/14/2009 6:11 PM >>> Tony: Just a quick note to share with you how impressed I was with several PARD employees earlier today! Specifically, I'm referring to the following PARE) employees: Gerald Gillory, Paul Rucker, Lance Hausenfluck, Casey Alexander, Shelia Garcia, Jaime Enriquez. Background ... a week or so ago, we had contacted Gerald Gillory about getting some help with one of the main flower beds in front of our building here next to City Hall. Most of the plants had long since started to die and it had become a major eye-sore for visitor's to our office. Keep in mind, we had only asked if they could help us get the stumps out ... so that we could make it look more attractive. In fact, we had planned to do everything regarding getting the actual bed ready and even planting the flowers. Well ... this morning the crew showed up bright early ... and delivered a product that totally blew me away! Not only did they get rid of the stumps, but they got the bed looking absolutely awesome and it is now ready for our new flowers. I can't tell you how grateful we are for their help and how impressed I am with their attention to every detail. What a awesome job ... and an equally impressive team! They were outstanding! Please relay my appreciation for all they did and share with them how impressed we are with the outstanding quality of their work! Once or twice a month I come to College Station from my home in Cypress to assist the Social Security judges who hold hearings at the conference center. We conduct hearings from one to three days. The space has been reserved in advance from the hearing office in Houston. Hearings most frequently begin at 8:00 a.m. and I usually arrive at 7:30 a.m. to get our equipment set up and ready to go on schedule. I have never arrived to find the meeting room not ready. The tables are set up in the configuration that we require, the room is consistently clean and Melvin brings a pitcher of ice water and cups for us. Throughout the day he comes by to ask if there is anything that we need. If at any time during the day we need to access the fax machine or copier, he ensures that there is sufficient paper for our use. During the interim between our hearings, I go to the lobby to wait for our next arrival and I frequently see Melvin checking on other meetings or events or dealing with a problem. I just wanted you to know how very happy we are to be able to work with Melvin at the conference center and we appreciate his first-class customer service. Sincerely, e:4-13 Linda R.
