PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD AGENDA
TUESDAY DECEMBER 8, 2015
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES ~ 7:00PM

Debe Shafer, Chair; Gary Erwin, Vice Chair; Kirsten ‘Kris’ Walker; Louis Hodges; Marc Chaloupka; Roger

1.Call to order and Roll Call. The meeting was called to order with a quorum present at
7:00 PM.
2.Possible action concerning requests for absences of members. An absence request
was received from Shawn Reynolds and David Sahm. Lou Hodges made a motion to approve
the absence requests and Kris Walker seconded the motion. The vote was called. All were
in favor, and the motion passed unanimously.
3.Hear visitors. Hearing none, this item was closed.
4.Consideration, possible approval, and discussion of minutes from the meeting
NOVEMBER 10, 2015. Marc Chaloupka made a motion to approve the minutes as
submitted, and Lou Hodges seconded the motion. The vote was called. All were in favor,
and the motion passed unanimously.
5.Presentation, discussion and possible action on the Senior Advisory Committee
applications and appointments. Presented by Marci Rodgers. After presentation and
discussion, Lou Hodges made a motion to approve the applications and accept the
recommendations from the Senior Advisory Committee and Gary Erwin second the motion.
All were in favor, and the motion passed unanimously
6.Presentation, discussion and possible action on appointing members for the
Parkland Dedication Subcommittee. After presentation and discussion, it was agreed that
Marc Chaloupka, Gary Erwin, Roger Reese and Debe Shafer would serve on the subcommittee.
All were in favor, and the motion passed unanimously
7.Report, possible action, and discussion concerning the current Parks Projects and
Dedications of Less than Five Acres. Presented by Rusty Warncke. Informational item
only, no action was taken.

8.Presentation, possible action, and discussion on future agenda items: A Board
Member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of
specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation
shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting.

9.Adjourn. March Chaloupka made a motion to adjourn the meeting, and Gary Erwin seconded
the motion. The vote was called. All were in favor, and the meeting adjourned at 7:27PM.
